Couldn’t even define Hajj properly, had to stop listening pretty fast…how can you be an ex-Muslim if it’s very clear that you didn’t know the fundamentals? Skipped forward through many parts and was just mind boggled by the amount of ignorance. Random anecdotal stories…desperate attempts to justify racism (most of which is not sourced/unauthentic)…I just can’t.

Haj? H.orse-manure A.nd. J.unk….. simple enough for you?

I believe as Ex-Muslims our goal should be to enlighten other (current) Muslims to see light. If you reason by mocking the religion at the same time, you will likely not win any converts.
By doing this you are not helping anyone except perhaps yourselves (to vent your anger) to some extent.

You all (including I) agree that religion was made-up and truly believe it.
Perhaps you need to rethink what is the best use of your time.

I’ll end by saying that I feel funny when you mock the god as if that is something that exists and you could argue with it. I do it sometimes too, but again doesn’t really make the world a better place.

I am not a muslim, but I don’t agree with what you say about Avraam’s son sacrifice.

The idea of Isaac’s sacrifice is not to simply kill his son. The idea is that Avraam wouldn’t have the son first hand if God didn’t grant it. And then there was more to it than that. Just getting the sacrifice out of context and applying it to denigrate everything about God is not okay.

Thanks brave people… you are the best, the bravest the wise the free, no god or those who dare claim to speak for god, can dictate the thoughts of free human thinking.
Hundred of years after the death of Muhammad, no end of degenerate, evil, sick illiterate goat-herding camel-jockeys added on to to the Koran, hate and death was included and preached, as is today, its not…its how one interprets its evil words?.. B.S. they are clear and straight forward. Christians beheaded non-believers and burnt heretics at the stake… sure ….In the bloody, dark Middle Ages . Pure Fascism posing as a religion is Islam.

Great podcast. It had me laughing a lot, because I came out of a biblical cult a couple years ago and these stories remind me of the flat out silliness of trying to be a perfect person in god’s eyes, which is impossible seeing as God always seems to change his mood. However these stories are certainly a step above what I had experienced. I never saw one of my ministers brandishing a machete after slaughtering a goat!! In one sense, it’s hilarious looking back, but it’s also disturbing to know the depth of brainwashing it takes to perform such rituals without a second thought. Great stuff though. Keep it up 🙂

If you want to understand the hajj then this is an excellent explanation.
